What is CO2-500 Series Oil
The hemisuccinate ester chemically modifies standard THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) to make it more water-soluble by converting it into a prodrug form known as THC-HS (THC-hemisuccinate).
Here's how the process works:
  1. Esterification Reaction:
    THC is naturally a lipophilic (fat-soluble) molecule. By reacting it with succinic anhydride, a hemisuccinate ester is formed. This attaches a polar carboxyl group to the THC molecule.
  2. Increased Polarity = Greater Water Solubility:
    The added succinate group increases the overall polarity of the molecule, allowing it to dissolve better in aqueous environments, such as rectal or oral mucosa fluids. This enhances absorption through mucous membranes.
  3. Prodrug Activation:
    Once inside the body, enzymes cleave the ester bond, releasing the active THC into the bloodstream. This avoids extensive breakdown in the liver (first-pass metabolism), allowing more THC to enter circulation.

In summary:THC-hemisuccinate increases water solubility by adding a polar group to the THC molecule, improving absorption through non-oral delivery routes like rectal administration. Once absorbed, the ester is broken down, releasing active THC for therapeutic action.

who should not use cannabis oil?
Do not use cannabis if you:

  • Are allergic to cannabis
  • Have a history of psychosis
  • Are pregnant
  • Have a heart condition such as unstable angina or a recent heart attack

how do i use cannabis oil?
  • Extracts & Oils: this is the widely recommended form for cancer & chronic pain patients. As it absorbs into your gastro-intestinal system ( Cautionary Note: This form of treatment includes an elevated state of euphoria (High) when ingesting cannabis oil.
  • Suppositories:  This is our prefered recommended method, as the oil suppositories are administered rectally via suppository bullet or rectal syringe, that you then insert into your rectum (bum).  This method increases the bioavailablity by as much as 70% over other administered methods. And best of all there is minimum euphoria (High) associated with this treatment method.  
  • We do not recommend inhaling (smoking or vaping) cannabis. The smoke or gas may damage your lungs, and defeats the purpose of treatment.
what are some of the side effects of cannabis oil treatments?
Side effects of Oral administered treatments might include:
  • Dry mouth
  • Slower reaction time
  • Hunger
  • Relaxation
  • Elevated Euphoria: feeling High
  • Sleepiness
  • Sensitivity to colour and sound
Side effects of Rectal administered treatments might include:
  • Slower reaction time
  • Relaxation
  • Sleepiness
  • Mild Euphoria

There are no known long-term side effects from using cannabis extracts.

Do not drive for at least 4 hours, if you take an extract under the tongue with high levels of THC. Do not drive for at least 10 hours if you swallow it.
How much cannabis oil should I take?
​It is recommended to talk to your health care team before using cannabis oil.
  • It is best to start with a very small amount .005g and then increase it slowly.
  • If you use cannabis oil, it will take 30-90 minutes for it to work. It can take 2-3 hours for maximum effect. Wait 6-8 hours before taking another dose.  It can take up to 8 hours for the effects to wear off. 
  • With a suppository treatment, it is recommended to insert .25g - 1g  per night prior to sleeping. The treatment is absorbed over 6-7 hours and has minimum side effects A full treatment course for Cancer would be 90 days of treatment.
will cannabis oil interact with my medication?
Cannabis may interact with some medications. Check with your oncologist or GP or pharmacist before using cannabis oil treatments.

What if my order does not arrive?
We will reference your tracking number to see where it is in transit? If it has been lost or misplaced then we will most certainly replace it at no cost to you! this guarantee does not include packages that have been confiscated by customs agents as being an non admissable import. 
CAN I RETURN MY CBD INTERNATIONAL  order?
Unfortunately we are unable to accept returns, simply due to the products that we ship, you may cancel your order prior to us shipping and we will credit your account, but once the order has been expedited we can no longer cancel it. Sorry
